I started beekeeping in 2016, when I received my first colony as a birthday gift. Three years and four harvests later I am now taking care of 30 colonies in two apiaries with my husband Sinan.
Beekeeping is a truly humbling experience, which enables us to learn a lot about ourselves, our world and others in it. Our apiaries are in the mountains surrounding Ramallah, Palestine and the honey they produce is considered “Jabali” – mountain-honey.
Our honey-production is part of our self-sustainable world-bettering plan – we create socially-conscious art and environmentally-conscious honey under the name of krinal|mansour.
